Lesbian

Ally	A heterosexual man or woman whose views are not heterosexist, who works to combat homophobia, and does not view homosexuality as "wrong".
Bisexual	A person who forms primary loving and sexual relationships with members of both sexes; someone who has continuing affectional, emotional, romantic, and / or exotic orientation for people of both sexes.
Drag King	Is a person, usually a woman, who dresses in male clothes and make-up for special occasions and usually because they are performing and entertaining.
Drag Queen	Is a person, usually a man, who dresses in female clothes and make-up for special occasions and usually because they are performing and entertaining.
Gay	Used as a general term to refer to homosexual people; sometimes used to refer to a man who forms his primary loving and sexual relationships with other men; a man who has continuing affectional, emotional, romantic, and / or erotic orientation for someone of the same sex.
Gender Identity	A person's internal sense of being masculine, feminine or otherwise; the gender an individual identifies as, regardless of what sex they were born.
LGBT	An acronym used to encompass lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people.
Hetrosexual	A person who forms primary loving and sexual relationships with members of the opposite sex.
Homophobia	The irrational fear of dislike of homosexuals and homosexuality.
Lesbian	A woman who forms her primary loving and sexual relationships with other women. A woman who has continuing affectional, emotional, romantic, and / or exotic orientation for someone of the same sex.
Out or Out of the Closet	A term which means being open and public about being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. Some people are "out" in certain settings and not "out" in others (i.e.: yourself, friends, family, and work).
Rainbow Flag	The Rainbow Flag was created by artist and Gilbert Baker, a friend of the late Harvey Milk, in 1978. The flag debuted at the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Freedom Day Parade and has since been used around the world as a symbol of LGBT unity. The rainbow colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. The flag is commonly flown horizontally, with the red stripe on top, as the colors would appear in a natural rainbow.
Sexual Orientation	The structure of our romantic, sexual, and / or emotional attractions. Some better-know categories include Heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual.
Transgender	A broad term that applies to people who live all or substantial portions of their lives expressing an innate sense of gender other than their birth sex. This includes transsexuals, cross-dressers, and people who simply feel like their biological sex fails to reflect their true gender.
Transsexual	A person whose innate sense of gender conflicts with their anatomical sex. Some, but not all, transsexual people undergo medical treatments, such as hormone therapy or surgeries, to change their physical sex so that it is in harmony with their gender identity.
